Next PTG Meeting:
September 5 • 6:45pm Parents of children enrolled at PES are considered members of the Parent-Teacher-Group, or PES PTG. We are a group that consists of members that can be parent/guardians, students, teachers and staff, as well as adult Penacook residents, who are interested in the general welfare and education of the children of Penacook Elementary School. We raise funds to sponsor school programs, such as educational assemblies, guest speakers, field trips and sometimes even to purchase equipment and supplies over and above those supplied by our school district through the budget process. The PTG supports quality education for all of our children and we work to form a bond between teachers and parents. We hold meetings once a month, usually on the second Thursday of the month in the library of PES. All meetings begin promptly at 6:00pm and usually last about one hour. Childcare will be provided starting the month of October. We would love to have you join us at the PTG meeting to help us make the school experience a success for your child. We have several fun activities each year and they all require help from many people. Events like Harvest Fest, Santa's Breakfast, Scholastic Book Fair and movie nights are successful only because of our volunteers. By offering an hour or two of your time is a huge help in helping us over the school year. Please contact any board member with any questions or suggestions that you may have. All ideas are important and helps us learn and grow as we are a new committee. Our main goal as a PTG is to make the kids school year a memorable one. We have enjoyed meeting many of you at the school open houses and look forward to meeting more parents through out the year. Here is to another great year! Sincerely, The Parent Teacher Group of PES |
